Why automotive diagnostics?

Founded in 2010, Outils OBD Facile is the first company to democratize automotive diagnostics in France.

From the beginning, we have been creating software with the mission of making car diagnostics accessible to everyone, both in terms of data reading and price.

Our klavkarr diagnostic scanner

klavkarr means "car key" in Breton. So, the goal of our scanner is to give you the key so you can diagnose your car yourself.

Our offices are located in Brittany, in Morbihan. All our products, klavkarr diagnostic scanners, EOBD-Facile software, and mobile applications are designed and developed by our team of engineers.

We wanted our klavkarr scanner to be a product designed and produced in Brittany. We only used local providers to develop it. The case design was conceived by a designer located in Auray, the plastic case, packaging, and electronic board are made in Morbihan, and of course, the software in our offices in Vannes.

The production team

Emilie has been an essential part of our production team since 2021. Specialized in final assembly, she has a keen eye for details. Not only does she ensure that each klavkarr is assembled perfectly, but she also checks that they all work 100% before packaging them.

The research and development team

Our R&D team is the innovation engine behind every klavkarr. They work tirelessly to improve performance, user interface, and of course, to develop new features that will help you better understand your car.

Romain

Romain has been with us since 2014, and his role as an electronics engineer is absolutely crucial to our success. Specializing in electronics and software development, he has been the mastermind behind several of our most popular features. His mission goes beyond mere creation; he also ensures that our software and applications, like EOBD Facile, are constantly updated and optimized for maximum performance.

You may have already virtually met him if you've emailed us to inquire about our products or services.
